InnoForm Media Positions Itself for Next Phase of Growth Through Acquisitions of Alliance Entertainment
Singapore – February 25, 2008 – InnoForm Media announced that it has acquired Alliance Entertainment, Singapore's leading video distributor of Hollywood home entertainment labels such as Warner Home Video, Twentieth Century Fox and New Line Cinema. Alliance Entertainment boasts Singapore's strongest catalogue of Hollywood and independent films. With immediate effect, Alliance Entertainment will be a fully‐owned subsidiary of InnoForm Media Private Limited.
A major independent entertainment distribution company with a strong foothold in Asian entertainment, InnoForm believes that the acquisition will provide the most strategic and comprehensive distribution for their content partnes’ entertainment offerings through a variety of synergistic methods.
This acquisition is in line with InnoForm’s strategy of building an extensive portfolio of entertainment products. “The business model we have created offers Alliance Entertainment and its wide array of content partners new distribution opportnities that will make our company more valuable to current and future content partners”, stated Mr. Ang Choon Beng, CEO of InnoForm Media.
“Our entire organization is excited to be part of the fastest growing company in the entertainment industry,” commented Mr. Tan Poh Lam, Managing Director of Alliance Entertainment. Mr. Tan will continue to serve as CEO of the subsidiary.
InnoForm Media also announced a reorganization of its management team, including the election of Angeline Ang as its President. With more than 10 years of management experience, Angeline will spearhead aggressive growth strategies that focus on revenue growth and corporate improvements for the company.
As Senior Vice‐President of Program Acquisitions & Distribution, Ms. Lynne Loi will lead InnoForm’s contents division. In this new role, she will direct efforts around program acquisition and distribution across all genres and through new and existing partnership. She will also be responsible for seeking investment and co‐production opportunities in films, drama series and children’s programs.
With this strategic alliance, InnoForm and Alliance look forward to continue being the dominant player in Asia’s film and video industry.
